Hi! My name is Thumper and I am a 4 month old kitten who is at Petsmart in Huntington waiting for that special someone to come along and make me a part of their family. I am a little shy and scared to be here at the store, but it is nice and warm and cozy in my little bed and all the volunteers are spending time with me petting me and cuddling me to help me feel more comfortable. I was rescued from a garage where I had gone to find shelter during one of the big snow storms. Only thing was the people were afraid of me (can you imagine!) and they would not put out food or water for me. They even tried to chase me out with the leaf blower, but I was so scared of all that ice and snow outside I just hid further inside the garage. Finally, a nice lady from Last Hope came to my rescue! She brought food for me (boy was I hungry!) and a nice warm bed inside a carrier. That was just the beginning of what everyone tells me is going to be my happy ending. I do have one request though, I would do best in a home in a quiet home with children over 14 and no dogs please! I am so looking forward to having a home and being loved – I hear it is the best!
