Hi, I’m Luke I am a 4 year old gentle giant! To make a long story short – about 8 months ago my sister and I were put into a plastic container, which then was taped up, and we were left in a busy shopping center out east! There was barely enough air to get into the tub – and we don’t know how much longer we would have lasted – but thankfully someone who worked at the center saw the tub and cut the tape and opened it – and we were huddled in it – scared and happy to get some fresh air. They called a Last Hope volunteer that they know – and she immediately took us into her home and became our foster mom.

So our foster mom has us tested, vaccinated and medically checked out – and we are in great shape. I was neutered by my previous family when I was a kitten. ¼ of my tail is missing – something happened to me when I was young – but I am okay and it doesn’t hurt me. We love each other so much – but my sister got adopted recently by a wonderful Family who could not take both of us. I am VERY happy for her – but now I need a family I can call my own.

I am the biggest, mushiest, gentlest cat you will ever meet! I love to be held and cuddled – like a big teddy bear! Everyone calls me handsome – but here I am waiting and waiting for a place to call home and to feel safe with a family again.

Oh yeah, and now kitten season is approaching – so the odds are great that I will be passed up again and again for those adorable little kittens that need to be rescued too! They are great and do need homes – but so do I – I really do. You know what you are getting with me – my personality is right out in the open for you to see.

Word has it that many cats adopted out of here get absolutely wonderful homes – can I bring that magic to your home? You won’t be disappointed – I just need a heart and home to be opened to me – so I can give you everything I have – and be a real buddy!! I would love to be in a real home to watch the birds from the window and welcome in Spring and Summer together!
