Lady – ADOPTED!

Hi – my name is LADY – I am about 2 years old and am a very soft, cuddly, deliciously friendly lap cat!

A few months ago one of the Last Hope volunteers was feeding a feral colony and I saw that she came daily. However, I was dumped in the feral colony – and there was no way that they were going to share their food or let me be a part of their community. I was starving and full of fleas and hiding. The weather was getting cold and I didn’t know how to handle myself outside. So one day when she was feeding the ferals, I just came out of hiding and started meowing really loud and went right up to her. She is familiar with cats that are dumped, and she knew I needed help. So she scooped me up very easily, and brought me home with her. She set me up in a separate room, fed me and gave me several flea baths over the next few days and most of all, she just cuddled and hugged me. Shortly after, my “foster” mom – took me to the vet and had me medically checked out and spayed – I have a clean bill of health! So I stayed in that household for a few months, just to get readjusted to a home and to relax and get ready to be adopted into a new home. I will miss her, but I know she has lots of foster cats and can’t keep all of us – she helps us get wonderful homes of our own.

So, here I am and thank you for visiting me. I am considered a torti – with all the unusual colors on my face and body. If you notice my back legs – they have quite a bit of apricot color on them – I have been told I am unique. But as unique as I am – I am still waiting for a warm wonderful family to adopt me.

Kitten season is approaching and I dread that I will be overlooked for a small cuter kitten.

I am such an easy going lady – and I love other cats as well. If you just ask to pet me or hold me, you will see for yourself what a mush I really am. I get nervous because many people say I am strange looking – that hurts my feelings. Unique OR strange – I still need a home – and I have so much love to give back.

I am so young – and I have so much life in me and need to run and play and act like an older kitten – and have had a difficult life already…and all I want is to be loved. Would you give me a chance – you won’t be disappointed…that I can absolutely promise you!

Gratefully yours,

Lady
