Hi!  My name is Penelope, but you may call me “Penny”, as all of my friends do!  Born under a deck in Bethpage, my siblings and I were lucky enough to be found by a kindly human and taken to a Last Hope foster mom, who gave us lots of love and affection.  I was her favorite!  She wanted so much to keep me, but her landlord said she couldn’t have any more cats there.  So now I’m here at PetSmart, looking forward to a forever home just like the one I had with my foster.  Although I’m a little bit scared to be in this cage in a busy store, I love attention from people.  As soon as I’m touched, I’ll rub on your hand.  Then I’ll roll over and let you pet me as long as you want.  Ahhh…..what could be better?!  Oh, I know the best answer to that question – a home of my own!  Please stop by to see what a beautiful and gentle little tortie girl I am.  I’m sure you’ll agree that I belong with you…forever.
