Hi, I’m PIERRE - I am an 11 month old very mellow buddy!

When only a few months old, I together with my two siblings were abandoned in the backyard of a neighbor of a Last Hope volunteer in New Hyde Park.   Where was our mom? – we can only assume whoever dumped us kept our mom – and only hope they had her spayed so she can’t have another litter of cats to be abandoned.  So, fortunately, the Last Hope volunteer fostered us, took care of all our medical needs including neutering, and I have a clean bill of health.

My two siblings were adopted, and here I am hoping that you and I will be a good match – and I can snuggle at home with you during these cold months ahead.

They say something good comes out of a bad thing – so yes I was rescued, and yes I am safe and warm – BUT I need a loving family and home to run and play in and cuddle and be a part of the big picture.

Every single person that walks by says how handsome I am, and many talk to me and some pet me, but yet no one is adopting me?  It is difficult for me to understand, as I have been waiting for months.   Maybe it is because you and I haven’t met until now???   I am only hoping that is the case.

Word has it that many cats adopted out of here get absolutely wonderful homes – can I bring that magic to your home?  You won’t be disappointed – I just need a heart and home to be opened to me – so I can give you everything I have – and be a real buddy!!

MY FIRST BIRTHDAY IS IN EARLY MAY – WILL I BE CELEBRATING IT IN THIS CAGE WHILE STILL WAITING FOR A FAMILY???  OH, I HOPE NOT.
