Hello there!  Fiona is my name, which was given to me by my foster mom when she took me to her home on St. Patrick’s Day.  I was found as a kitten in Bohemia, taken to the home of my foster mom, who nurtured me and prepared me for my trip to PetSmart where, I anticipated, I’d find my forever home quickly.  Well, sadly, that didn’t happen as fast as I thought it would, and I’m still here, six months later.  If I didn’t have so much attention and good care here, I’d be a very depressed little girl.  Neither I, nor my volunteer friends here, can understand it!  As you can see, I’m a beautiful black and white older kitten, with very soft fur.  I’m friendly and playful and gentle and purry – everything that a kitty should be.  Just ask the volunteers!  They’ll vouch for everything I’ve said!  Yet, here I sit, day after day, watching little kittens of assorted colors and temperaments (some not as nice as mine [shhhh….]) going to their forever homes.  I would be so happy if someone would visit ME and recognize what a very wonderful kitty I am!  How about it?  Do you think you might stop by and spend a little time with me?  I’d love that, and I think you would, too.  Then, perhaps, you’d want to share your heart and home with me…..forever.  Wow!  That would be a dream come true for me!
