My name is Boaz! I am approximately 3 yrs old. I am a BEAUTIFUL, large, gentle boy! Despite being a young adult, I am still very playful and kitten-like in many ways. I am a sweet, tender hearted soul. I am VERY low maintenance, NOT demanding and extremely well behaved!! I get along well w/other cats and have NO interest in being an alpha cat. I was neutered prior to LH obtaining me. I have all my shots and tested neg. for FELV/FIV. I have been wormed and my blood work is completely normal. I am SOO healthy!

Regrettably, I have a sad story to tell. I was abandoned over the winter. I made my way to a wonderful woman’s backyard. However, I was in really, really bad shape. I had been an inside cat and had no way to sustain myself in the outdoors. Yet, I did the best I could to survive. A raccoon attacked me–ripped open my entire side! I sustained a HUGE gaping wound to my left side and I was close to death. I wasn’t sure if the woman who rescued me would put me to sleep or save me–I was that bad! Fortunately, the GOOD SAMARITAN who found me got me the operation I needed with antibiotics. She nursed me back to health despite her allergies to cats.

I am a quiet boy and enjoy the simpler things in life–I LOVE my dry food and sitting in the window sill to take in all the wonderful smells outside. I am friendly, pensive, smart, expressive and loving.  I very much wish to be in a permanent home, where I know I’ll be loved forever! I am a forgiving soul with lots of love to give.  I know I would be your best companion if given the opportunity!
