I’m Niklaus, and I’m so glad you’re here to read a little bit about me!  Did you notice my interesting appearance as soon as you saw my photo?  I suspect you’ve never seen a black cat with a white undercoat.  Well, now you have!  Amazing, yes?  (I have to say the picture was taken just after I was put in a cage at PetSmart; that’s why I look rather scared.)  My rescuer found me in Melville, where I had been abandoned as an adult cat.  Can you imagine anyone doing that to such a handsome guy?  Happily, Last Hope recognized what a very adoptable cat I am, and I was taken to my foster mom’s house for a little medical checkup and some R&R before coming here to find my forever home.  Although I had such adversity in my earlier life, I hold no grudges against humans.  I’m friendly, calm, and I love being petted.  I’m so much looking forward to meeting the Special Someone who will recognize my handsomeness and nice personality, and who will give me a home of my own once again.  Could that Special Someone be YOU?  I can hardly wait for you to pay me a visit!
