Last Hope volunteers Ryan and Shana gave Baby a much needed day out. First part was the car ride…Baby was a dream in the car. When they arrived at Gardner’s Park/Beach, she was great on the leash,  she took time to stop and smell the roses…well not really but she smelled everything else.  She came off a bit overzealous for most of the other dogs there when they came close to say hi,  but for the most part she kept to herself.  When she got to the beach she was very perplexed by the waves at first, but after a few minutes she was putting her paws and nose in the water, having a lot of fun.  She spent at least a half hour laying in the sand watching the waves. What a way to spend the afternoon – what’s next for Baby??? Maybe a hike!!

Baby has been with us here at Last Hope for quite some time, though she loves all the volunteers she deserves a home with a family that she can call her very own. If you are interested in providing Baby with a forever home, please come meet her at our Wantagh Adoption Center.
