Hello World – Arriving 9 weeks ago, our mama, beagle Alexis gave birth to eight…yes EIGHT beautiful beagle puppies. She did a wonderful job of raising them along with the help of Sue, a great Last Hope volunteer and terrific foster mom. Four of them got scooped up immediately even before coming to our center and the others had adoption applications almost as soon as they walked in the door. That’s Sue with 4 of the pups – They are so full of energy and love to play so you can imagine how difficult it was to get them to sit still for this shot but boy are they cute!!

A big thanks to Sue for caring for Alexis and her pups these past few months and especially during Hurricane Irene.
