30th Anniversary Dinner Keynote Speaker & Honoree’s

The invitation are in the mail!! So be sure to RSVP soon as we expect a packed house!

As you know, the theme for our 30th Anniversary celebration is “It’s Reigning Cats & Dogs” since homeless pets under Last Hope’s care are treated royally and go from rags to riches. Newsday columnist Joye Brown who just happens to own several Last Hope cats will be the keynote speaker.

Last Hope will be honoring Janet Brasco and Geraldine Walsh, co-founders of the organization, as well as Last Hope supporter William J. Abbott, president and CEO of the Hallmark Channel. In addition, Last Hope will be recognizing “pioneers of progress” at several Long Island municipal animal shelters. The honorees include Matt Caracciolo, former director of Town of Islip Animal Shelter; Chris Elton, director of Town of Babylon Animal Shelter; Joan Phillips, co-founder and president of Animal Lovers League of Glen Cove; and Dori Scofield, director of Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter and president of Save-A- Pet in Port Jefferson Station.

Congratulations to all Honoree’s!!
