Hello, my name is “Faline” – named so because my friends think I look like a deer, so they named me after Bambi’s girlfriend, but I also resemble the North African sighthound called the “Sloughi”.  Chances are that I am a slim Hound mix, tan with dabs of brindle. I came to Last Hope from Babylon Shelter where I was picked up as a stray at a dangerous intersection right in front of the former Last Hope Dog Center. I’m about 2-3 years old and 47 lbs., and as you can imagine I was petrified when I first entered the shelter but I’ve made lots of progress. My new friends get the feeling that no one exposed me to the good things in life, like a ride in a car or a nice walk. That being said, I am still fidgety and nervous in some new situations but I do love to play ball in that graceful sighthound way and get happy when I see my friends. What I am looking for is a TLC type of  person who will help me savor life to the fullest. If that’s you, well then come on down so I can meet you!!
