I am named Autumn because I have beautiful, big, gold colored eyes!  I’m a female estimated to be about 5 years old that is very vocal and affectionate.  I love to sit or sleep in your lap and enjoy basking in a sunny window all day.  I had the good fortune to be rescued from a municipal town shelter by one of the Last Hopes volunteers who had stopped to pet me after I called out, then reached my paws out to her!  I didn’t want to be left behind and she made sure to get me out of there.  I had been waiting there for quite a while and it was no fun.  I’ve spent a year at Last Hope Animal Rescue waiting for my forever home.  The stress of being in a shelter environment has caused me to need to be on anti-anxiety medication and scratch myself so much it hurt. Now I am in foster care and receiving much love and attention from my foster parents, so I no longer feel stressed out. But I am still looking for a forever home to call my own.  Take one look at me and you know that I will be a cherished member of your family.  I like to be Queen of my castle, so will you give me the companionship I’ve been waiting for all my life?
