“Bonnie” is a purebred Bloodhound wrapped up in a 112 pound package of love. She was an owner surrender to a Virginia shelter for family reasons. Now that a rescued Bloodhound has arrived at Last Hope, we can safely say the “new year has begun”.
“Bonnie” is a hefty hound. She got to Last Hope after a long transport, bounded through the door and started to plant wet, slobbery kisses on the volunteers waiting for her inside.
Quite an entrance!.. Welcome to Last Hope, “Bonnie”! She gets along with dogs that are mellow and are not in her face. “Bonnie” may do best in a one dog home.
Now we are sending out an internet search party to SNIFF out Bloodhound-lovers who’d love to adopt “Bonnie”. Might that be you?
