“Buck” is a little trooper. This tiny 13 pound Terrier mix was a stray at a Kentucky shelter. He entered with bad back leg. The shelter sent him for x-rays and his leg was beyond shattered – there was no repairing the damage and the Kentucky vets all concurred that removal was the best option.

So in April, “Buck” a Beagle/Terrier mix about 2 years old had his leg amputated. Two weeks later he came to Last Hope on a transport. The surgery does not cramp Buck’s style. He remains a happy, playful pup, who is actively seeking a loving home.
