Chubbs- Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Hound – ADOPTED 6/29/15

“Chubbs” is a handsome new fellow at Last Hope from a Virginia shelter. He has the look of Chesapeake Bay Retriever mixed with Hound. If so, the Chessie genes gave him his coat and stature while the Hound genes gave him a jowly jaw. (It’s interesting to note that the breed- Chesapeake Bay Retriever – originated in “Chubbs'” home state.)
“Chubbs” is a big boy about 3 years old. He is still scared about the meg- move in his life but we are expecting this large mushy boy to relax soon, especially with the attention and reassurance of so many volunteers. This good-looking fellow is looking for a home with teens or older because of his size.
