Hordes of Hoarders!
Seems each day we learn of another animal hoarder horror story.
“Deagon” an adorable Mini Aussie mix is one such victim.
He came into a KY shelter in March along with 12 other dogs, mostly Corgi mixes.
They were frightened out of their wits because they hadn’t been socialized or touched. “Deagon” was extremely scared. He’d run if anyone tried to pet him. Emotional rehab lasted a long time. Progress took patience and persistence. His rescuers at STAR got him ready for the transport to Last Hope in NY.
Now he is still a little shy at first, but such a love bug once he makes your acquaintance. He is coming to the front of his kennel to say hello to visitors too..
“Deagon” is going to be head over heels happy when someone comes to embrace and adopt him forever. (Question: Do dogs have heels?)
