Kramer – Treeing Walker Coonhound

“Kramer” is a young Treeing Walker Coonhound who’s been through so much.
He came to Last Hope as a transport dog from a shelter in a rural state where big hounds are considered a “dime a dozen”.
Like so many hunting hounds, “Kramer” was discarded when his hunting inclination or skills did not meet his owner’s expectations.

Although “Kramer” is young, he tested positive for heartworm.
He recently finished his heartworm treatment protocol.
During his recovery, “Kramer’s” exercise was restricted which must be so frustrating for a large breed hound.

“Kramer” does well at off-site adoption events.
He is a lovable fellow who will benefit from a kind but consistent leader who will reinforce the basics of dog decorum.

“Kramer” has great pup potential. He just needs someone who will nurture that potential and help him be the great dog he was meant to be.
