“Max” came to Last Hope in style. His friends at Babylon Animal Shelter sent him off with a bath and a fashionable, warm coat.”Max” is a sweet 7 year old Chihuahua mix who wound up surrendered by family members to the shelter along with another Chihuahua ( since adopted) after their owner died. (Actually the story is more cruel but we will spare you the upsetting details.)

“Max” is an adorable fellow. He loves to hang out, sit on your lap and just relax. He gets along with other dogs but tends to hide behind humans when introduced to bigger pups. He was great in the bath tub. Rather than continuing to sing “Max’s” praises, it would be best if you visited Last Hope Dog Adoption Center in Wantagh to give “Max” a chance to sell himself as your new best buddy.
