“Milo” came to Last Hope on Long Island from a rescue in West Virginia. In this particular county there is no shelter or pound, just an animal control officer who must put the dogs down right away unless the local rescue can find foster homes and then transport to the Northeast.

“Milo” is an adorable Basset/Beagle  about 2 years old who is accustomed to being with kids. He is happy and exuberant and would love to be in a loving home where his owner will continue his training and education to help turn him into a model canine citizen.
