“Mya” came to Last Hope from a shelter in Virginia. She really needed a change of venue. She’s a large Lab mix, 82 lbs. & about 6 yrs old, as nice as can be. She came into the shelter 3 times as a stray, and was reluctantly redeemed twice by her owners believed to be drug addicts.
This time when “Mya’s” owners didn’t show, and her stray hold was up, it seemed wise to send her north to Last Hope where there would be no chance these people would decide after the fact to reclaim her, and continue this cycle of irresponsibility.
“Mya” has a new “leash” on life…Now she needs to find a loving home.
