Hi. My friends here at Last Hope have told me that my name is Sheldon, but I think it’s something more like “Whoa!!” or “Wowwww!!!” because that’s all I hear all day long  when anyone meets me for the first time!!! Not sure what they’re referring to but maybe it has something to do with the fact that I’m 20lbs LARGE and I have a presence that will knock your socks right off!!  I probably could stand to lose a few pounds but I’m also just BIG all over and I’ve come to accept that this is who I am – hoping someone else will too!   I’m about 9 years old, front-declawed, mellow, huggable, holdable, snuggleable, and lap-appropriate.  I look a tad intimidating because I’m so large and I’m not particularly happy right now, and I’m  trying to put on a brave front due to the recent scary events that have taken place in my life. I don’t know what happened to may family….somehow a decision was made to not love me anymore and I found myself to be in a noisy, frightening town shelter.  Thank goodness someone from Last Hope has a major soft spot for extremely large cats and couldn’t resist so now I’m in the peaceful Huntington Cat Center….which is all fine and good, if you like cats but… truth be told, not a fan!  Please someone get me the heck OUT OF HERE!  I am way too big for most cages, and I don’t want to roam free with these other felines so…I’m kind of just biding my time waiting to live again.   Maybe you’ve been waiting for a guy like me to come along?
