Yule – Female Foxhound – ADOPTED 2/25/15

“Yule” displays the canine “Johnny Cash Factor”:

Last Hope aims to make life much better for the dogs and cats in our care. “Yule” comes to us with an atypical name for a female Foxhound mix . But more important, she is a poor dog that has endured a hard life….something dubbed the “Johnny Cash factor” for it is hard to determine her true age. Our vet agrees that she may be younger than she looks on the outside because of a difficult life. She has a face and body that have most likely existed outdoors in Ohio County of KY where she weathered neglect. She is missing a few teeth and her coat is ragged. Actually she came into the KY shelter a year ago Christmas and they gave her the holiday name, and placed her in foster care for a year, in hopes that there would be a wonderful home elsewhere.

Now she is a Last Hope Long Island girl, and our goal is to make up for the past and turn her into a pampered princess for the rest of her days. She arrived with her Beagle buddy “Shamrock” who seems to be in better condition than “Yule”. Please consider sweet “Yule”, our Princess-In-Waiting.
