ZOEY- Beagle mix-ADOPTED!

ZOEY is a very special girl. She comes to Last Hope after living in a horrific family setting with someone quite unstable. She and 2 other dogs were living in the car in the driveway. A Lab was living in the house. Despite the family dysfunction, ZOEY remains happy to see everyone. She would prefer a home where a family member is home most of  the time.

She LOVES everyone, and gets along with other dogs. ZOEY is a brown brindle Beagle mix- 9 years old (based on her microchip), but she looks and acts much younger. She had 2 cherry eyes. It’s impossible to determine how long she has had them. One was more pronounced and irritated than the other. Our vet treated her with various eye ointments to get the redness down before she performed cherry eye repair surgery in April. ZOEY is looking for someone or a whole family to LOVE full time. She is so appreciative for anything you do for her. She adapted to life when the situation was bizarre. She knows the back window ledge is the most comfortable car spot when you are sharing a car (as your home) with other dogs. She even naps there when you take her to the vet.  ZOEY is very playful for her age. She has nice house manners but would love adults or kids who’d play with her in the yard. ZOEY deserves a loving environment where she will return the devotion shown to her ten fold.
