We’d like to nominate “Pork Chop II” as a canine candidate for great family dog. He’s sweet, only 24 lbs and appears to love everyone he meets. This 3 year old brindle, over-sized Boston Terrier mix does not want to debate his qualifications. He prefers you come meet him at Last Hope in Wantagh. He’s not an egotist. Instead, he’s a humble fellow from a Kentucky shelter. He even borrowed an adoption poster from “Pork Chop I” (who came to Last Hope several years ago from West Virginia as a survivor dog from a starvation court case).
