“Spot” an 8-9 month old Pit mix puppy came to Last Hope from Hempstead Town Shelter next door in hopes that someone would “spot” him in a smaller shelter. At the town shelter, ,”Spot” blends in against a crowd of 100+ Pits and Pit mixes. We were afraid he’d grow up before anyone noticed him.”Spot” is happy, active and dog-friendly. He would do great with someone who would start working and reinforcing basic commands now while he’s still a baby.
