Hello – I’m Porter and I came to Last Hope on a transport from West Virginia. I turned up as a stray in a yard where I was immediately added to a chained dog collection, alongside my tiny friend Pearl, who is also at Last Hope. Despite my background, I am a wonderful fellow, submissive to other dogs, even small pups, but I have to be honest, I do chase cats….I can’t help it!!!

Rumor has it my Mom was a Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) and my Dad a Lab/Shep. I am about 15 mon. old and about 40 lbs., who knows but I am a love-bug package with all the makings of a fabulous family dog. Come on down so we can meet!!
