Hi – my name is Emmett – thank you for visiting me. I am a 5 year young lovable boy  – and everyone says I am handsome.  I feel handsome and proud sometimes – but then am not sure when no one wants to adopt me.

My human mom died – and none of her children wanted to take me into their home – so they dumped me at the Shelter….  I love people and human touch – so everytime Last Hope came to the shelter I kept meowing and reaching out of the cage.    Finally they had room to take me a few months ago. I climb out of the cage and sit on your shoulder – yet, I prefer not to be in a cage at all.

I am medically tested and healthy, neutered, wormed, vaccinated and just have a few scars on my ears from being beat up in the shelter by other cats. I really would love to have a home soon with a family – one that will keep me forever with them and just love me and let me love them back.   This is safe in the cage – but it is stressful and lonely. Every time I make a friend – they get adopted and I start from square one.
