Hi – my name is TALLULAH – a fun, loving young lady! Yes – I am another kitten, together with my siblings, dumped in a taped up box in a shopping center in Deer Park. We were only 2 weeks old – we should have never been taken from our mom – so we are considered bottle babies! There were 3 of us, my two brothers were recently adopted. We were discovered by a shopper, who brought the box to the Town Shelter. Not only was the shelter full and not accepting kittens, do they not take bottle babies. Bottle babies need to be fed with a bottle of formula every few hours, and get a tremendous amount of cuddling and hands on — we need to have someone replace our mom. So the Town called Last Hope. Last Hope had a volunteer who loves bottle babies, and she had none at the time. So off we went to her home, and spent several months there getting the best care – we had so much love, so much fun and we developed beautifully.
As soon as we were old enough – all of our medical needs were met. We were tested, wormed, spayed and vaccinated. So, I have everything – but a permanent home and family.
When my foster mom would clean – she would put on music and act like she was dancing around. Well – one of her cats (orange) and one of my siblings and myself used to dance with her. Here is a picture of us dancing to Christmas music! I am the one on the right dancing to Jingle Bells!
So, I became friends with Cubby and Ted when my siblings were adopted. Ted was just adopted – so now it is our turn. We would love to be adopted together – but if not – we know that not every family can take two kittens – so we each will have the best life individually. But if there is a thought in your head that “maybe” you can take two – what can I do to make that happen?
We are spending valuable kitten time in a cage – yes we are safe and warm – but we need to run and play and be kittens! I need to sit on your lap and watch TV – and cuddle and wrestle your hand. Hey, maybe we can watch the Superbowl together? Maybe I can be your Valentine? Please, please – look at my face and give me a chance to leave pawprints on your heart and a big smile to your face!
Gratefully yours,
Tallulah
