Hello! My name is Annie, a gorgeous 4 year old calico, and my past is a bit scary!! I once had a family that I adored, but they had to move and they decided they didn’t want me anymore. They took me to this big scary shelter with lots of cats and dogs, and I heard them tell an employee that I was a stray! Can you believe that? I felt so betrayed. I was carried away to a tiny cage in a room filled with so many other cats. A lot of them were sick, so it was inevitable that I caught a cold. Well, it turns out if you catch a cold at this place, you end up on this horrid list to be euthanized. So there I was, hours away from an untimely death when I had been dropped off not 2 days earlier by my so-called family! Where is the justice? Suddenly, there was hope after all – Last Hope that is. They were up all night making phone calls on my behalf! They took me out of that scary place and into their quiet little cat center. Ah, peace at last. I’ve now recovered from my cold (seriously, all it took was antibiotics people!) and I’m ready for my new lease on life. I would love to sit up on your shoulders and cuddle with you all day long. I’m ready for my new family to come get me – please, forever this time.
