“Blondie” a very affectionate Pit/Lab, about 2 years old and 40 lbs. comes to Last Hope from Babylon Shelter. Last January she was wandering around St. Charles Cemetery. When the cemetery workers finally caught her in a humane trap, it became apparent that she recently had a litter. Blondie still had milk. Blondie started out at the shelter as a quiet and shy dog that would hide in the back of the run, and has blossomed into a super sweet, sociable gal who gets along with other dogs, all sizes. She played with another Pit mix in the shelter yard everyday. She loves to give kisses and to get belly rubs…Blondie should blossom even more at Last Hope with all the attention she will get from our many volunteers. Hopefully, she will not be with us long.
