Handsome “Chase”, a blonde Husky/Shepherd, about a year old, showed up as a stray in rural Summers County, WV where there is no municipal shelter- instead, only a dog warden who must put strays down as soon as a short hold is up. ACWP is a small, hardworking rescue in the area that intervenes to save dogs whenever possible by placing them in a few, precious foster homes. ACWP provides vet care and posts pleas to rescues in the Northeast, like Last Hope, where the dogs stand a much chance of finding a responsible home.Chase was fostered with dogs and cats in WV. He is young, loving and energetic and very eager to learn. He has already mastered “Sit” and would love someone special who could teach him much more.
