Meet “Mickey”…this Chihuahua mix lost his eye about 4 years ago when he was hit by a car. A kind older lady adopted him after that; but after the super storm Sandy, her family came up from Florida to check on her. They realized Mom could no longer take care of herself or a pet.  Mom went to FL; Mickey went to Babylon TownShelter…This black and tan boy, about 7-8 years old and 20 lbs. is now at Last Hope..Mickey will be getting a dental cleaning before placement. Mickey likes kids (but we are discouraging adoption with small kids who may startle him if they approach quickly on his blind side) and other dogs…sweet, sweet boy!
