Patterdale Terriers are small working dogs, a regional breed originally developed in northern England. We are more apt to see them in the transport dogs coming from Southern or rural states than here on Long Island. “Lenny” from a Kentucky shelter resembles a Patterdale. This sweet two-year old boy is “mid-size”, about 24 pounds, and he isn’t going to get any bigger.
