“Aaron” recently arrived at Last Hope from an overcrowded Kentucky shelter. He is one of our large selection of Beagles, because in poor rural states so many adoptable members of his breed are discarded when not profitable as hunting dogs. In Kentucky, Beagles and other Hounds are canine second class citizens.
“Aaron” is a mostly white tri-colored fellow about 3 years old. He is a little shy at first but then likes to snuggle. He worked his way into a Last Hope volunteer’s lap within minutes of arriving on his transport. Perhaps “Aaron” or one of his Beagle buddies at Last Hope can work his way into your heart? Come visit the Dog Center in Wantagh to find out.
I've found my forever home! Thank you!
