“Amelia” doesn’t look as if she has had an easy time of it. This adorable Beagle from an impoverished part of Kentucky appears to have had several litters. She came into the shelter as a stray, and it is hard to pinpoint her age because of her “matronly” figure. She is probably about 5 years old.

She has an absolutely endearing way of walking. “Amelia” will take a step, then roll over for a belly rub, take another step, then roll over for another belly rub, step and repeat, step and repeat…She is looking for someone to love and cherish her forever…
