In April “Blackie” was picked up as a stray by an overcrowded Kentucky shelter where black dogs all blend and rarely get adopted. He arrived at Last Hope on a transport amid a sea of Beagles and Hounds. He’s a Lab mix between 1 and 2 years old who has plenty of energy and love to share with this handsome, happy dude. Perhaps Blackie’s new family could come up with a more original name too.
