“Koala” is a super sweet little guy….named for the Australian heart throb that his cute nose so resembles.
He came to Last Hope after being rescued in West Virginia where his former owners threw him outside because he didn’t breed with their female. Then they forgot about him. Thankfully, the volunteers of Summers County Humane Society do door to door outreach in their rural WV county. They saved Koala, and, via a transport to Last Hope, made sure that he would go to people that would appreciate him forever.
He is a Chihuahua maybe mixed with smidgen of Corgi. Koala is slow to trust but bonds once he does. Koala is a perfect little companion! Quiet, never snippy, always loving. Koala is about 7 years old and just 10 pounds.
I've found my forever home! Thank you!
