….and then there were 3.

“Roxie” completes the Chihuahua trilogy. A week ago “Precious” & “Tootsie” arrived at Last Hope after being turned into a crowded Kentucky shelter when their owner became too ill to care for them. The sisters are quite bonded.

At the time we didn’t know that there had been 2 more Chihuahuas in this home. One was adopted directly from the Kentucky shelter, but “Roxie” a 5 year old black & tan was left behind at the shelter and she became very depressed.

Special arrangements were made to get “Roxie” to Last Hope ASAP. She hitch hiked onto another KY transport and arrived at Last Hope on June 29th. The girls were so happy to see each other. We will be trying to keep at least two of the sisters together, depending on the dog situation in interested adoptive homes.
