“Lance” knows how to be noticed in a crowd. He also knows how to work a crowd.

“Lance” is a mid-sized Pit mix, about a year and a half old, who came to Last Hope from Hempstead Town Shelter next door. He made quite an impression on the staff there in a sea of over 100 Pits because of his outgoing way and pleasant demeanor. “Lance” likes to lean against you to show his affection.

He went to the Bellmore Street Fair recently where he met tons of people. Lance was a regular pup politician, having a grand time. He loved everyone he met, and didn’t seem to mind even when the street was packed with people and their dogs. Hopefully his sparkling personality (but he’s not a person) will attract Mr. or Mrs. Right who will want to bring him home to stay.
