Jeb – ADOPTED!

JebHandsome “Jeb” can be described several ways…as an American English Coonhound; an English Coonhound or a Redtick Coonhound…Take your pick.

He came to Last Hope from an overcrowded Virginia shelter after his “allotted time was up”.

Ironically, his ancestors trace back to Virginia too. An English Coonhound has origins from hunting hounds brought to America by settlers during the 17th and 18th centuries, resulting in the dogs known as the “Virginia Hounds”. George Washington played a huge part here.

This relatively compact Coonhound is about 2 years old and weighs 50 pounds. He is outgoing, friendly and handsome…all wonderful traits on his doggy resume.
