“Macintosh” is a very agreeable Cattle Dog/Beagle mix about a year old with an “apple-shaped” physique. He comes to Last Hope from a North Carolina shelter. The nearby veterinary college at North Carolina University takes shelter dogs to teach students about spay/neuter and other routine medical procedures. However, the shelter is so crowded that these “ready to go” dogs stand little chance of being adopted when they go back to the local shelter.

Now at Last Hope on Long Island, “Macintosh” is waiting for someone nice to notice him…He longs to be the apple of that special someone’s eye . Might that someone be you?
