When “Walker” first arrived at Last Hope, he was a wisp of the dog he should be.
This emaciated Treeing Walker Coonhound was found as a stray in Kentucky weighing well under 40 pounds which is quite thin for such a leggy hound. Unfortunately, it is common place in rural states to abandon or shoot hunting dogs that do not pass muster. Despite his life of neglect, “Walker” loves people and other dogs too. Now he has filled out. He needs to be placed with kids that are teens or older. “Walker” would love to show you his pet potential.
I've found my forever home! Thank you!
