“Sadie” a tall young Lab looking gal with Houndy ears came to Last Hope on Long Island from a shelter in Ohio County, Kentucky. She arrived with a young female Bloodhound. They had both been pulled from the shelter together and were placed in the same foster home awaiting rescue transport North. Both dogs tested positive for heartworm. Sadie is very outgoing and playful. She had her first heartworm treatment and is hoping to find a foster home for her recuperation just as her Bloodhound friend did….and then, of course, a forever home.
