“I come to Last Hope from Oyster Bay Town Shelter where I was surrendered because my caretaker died. I am Beagle mix about 6 years old, about 26 lbs. (maybe I could stand to lose a few) and love to give kisses..My former owners say I am a “Peagle” which is Beagle/Peke but I really do not look Pekingese. My tail is more Cocker or Corgi. Well, that doesn’t matter because according to my former family, I am very friendly, housebroken, walk well on a leash and good with other dogs. I do get a little frightened when picked up by a stranger so I would do better in a home with teens or older. Come to Last Hope to meet me, please.”
