“Sassy” is only 6 months old, and will grow to be a medium size dog. She was part of a Boxer mix litter born in Kentucky. Her owner turned “Sassy” and her sister “Roxy” into the filled-to-the-brim local shelter because he couldn’t sell them as he had their siblings. The sisters came to Last Hope on a rescue transport. “Roxy” had more of a Boxer mask, and was adopted from Last Hope quickly.

Only “Sassy” still waits. She attended 2 adoption events over the weekend. She loves to cuddle with kids and adults, but gets uncomfortable when another dog comes too close to her. “Sassy” would do best in a one dog home, and will probably improve her dog to dog skills over time with more meet n’ greets and pup socialization.
