“Cannot keep” is the vague reason owners often put on shelter surrender forms. Thus was the case when a former owner signed “Jerry” a handsome young Beagle over to a Kentucky Shelter. Chances are…”Jerry” was given up through no fault of his own. Maybe he was a poor hunter…That’s the deal breaker for so many rural-area Beagles. He’s about 2 years old, 33 pounds and a little shy at first. He warms up quickly and is starting to meet Last Hope visitors by coming to the front of his run.  “Jerry” rather venture out of his run for good, when he goes HOME with someone nice…..someone really nice.
