BANJO showed up heartworm positive at a LI town shelter at the worst possible time. The shelter was completely full. The circumstances of how he was found were heartbreaking too. Someone had tied his leash to the Wyandanch High School fence in the pouring rain. A woman living nearby called the shelter after noticing him the next morning.

Babylon Shelter was quick to notice how sweet he is, and asked Last Hope to take him. The town shelter did his bloodwork, had several growths surgically removed and biopsied and will be providing the immiticide for BANJO’s heartworm treatment.

We got great biopsy news…all the growths removed from BANJO are benign.
