Is MAYA the Mom of the other Arby’s Cats?
An owner threw the Arby’s cats out to fend for themselves when he left a Hicksville house.
And when the 4 starving female cats were found foraging for scraps of food outside the nearby Arby’s, we suspected they may not all be 1 yr old sisters.
Maybe one was the young Mom of the other 3.
It appears that is the case.
Right before her spay, MAYA ran a high fever and began to hemorrhage.
She was rushed to the vet on a Sunday evening where it was discovered she needed emergency treatment for a pyometra…which is a severe uterine infection.
Thank Heavens, volunteers realized MAYA was in crisis mode.
MAYA is back at Last Hope in Wantagh & definitely on the mend. She most likely was still a kitten when she gave birth to the other 3 Arby’s cats- HARPER, AGATHA & ALICE .
MAYA is a sweetheart who truly deserves a wonderful HOME to make up for all the suffering she’s had in her young life.
