VIOLET’s Poem:
“Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
My name is VIOLET ,
And I’m blue too.
I’ve waited a year,
No one’s come near.
No one’s come here.
I’ m starting to fear.
Even though I play-
Every single day.
It appears in the
Jungle Room,
I will have to stay.
Please I much rather
Someone take me home
So I don’t spent my life alone,
Without a person or family
To call my very own.”
VIOLET knows she violated the rhyme & rhythm patterns,
but she hopes the adoption plea in her poem is crystal clear.
VIOLET came to Last Hope over a year ago. She is from the litter of 5 in Selden. Their Mom hid them in the engine compartment of a brand new Audi.
Meet VIOLET in the Jungle Room in the Lobby of Last Hope Wantagh.
She is very friendly and interacts with visitors through the glass.
I've found my forever home! Thank you!
